„Saulė 2009“ - the third event of FIA NEZ Rally Nationscup 2009

On 11-12 July 2009 the third round of the Lithuanian rally championship will take place in northern Lithuania, the region of Šiauliai. Rally “Saulė 2009” is also the third event of the FIA North European Zone (NEZ) Rally Nationscup 2009. Also known as Samogitia rally (“Žemaitijos ralis”) this gravel event will attract the strongest Lithuanian rally crews and crowds of rally fans, not to mention the guests from the other countries.

Samogitian gravel roads are known for being fast and demanding for the drivers. The routes of “Saulė” rally contain roads of mixed complexity: ranging from wide and fast parts to very narrow and twisty sections. Consequently, “Saulė” is one of the most difficult and technically demanding events in the calendar of the Lithuanian rally championship.

Interestingly enough, year to year Lithuanian rally champions find it hard to finish this event on the podium. Last year V.Švedas – the Lithuanian rally champion of 2008 – rolled his N4 EVO IX on a twisty section. Back in 2007 R.Lipeikis – the multifold winner of the Lithuanian rally championship famous for his stability – has also been defeated by the “Saulė” rally. After a big jump his A8 EVO VIII dived on the nose which caused radiator damage and eliminated the racer from the further competition.

Rally “Saulė 2009” starts on Saturday 11th July in the city of Šiauliai. For the beginning, only two identical 4.6km long special stages on tarmac will happen that day. However, the main part of the event will take place the next day. On Sunday 12th July the action will continue on the country roads around Kelmė (about 40km from Šiauliai) where the drivers will have 105.5km in 10 gravel stages to race.

11-12 июля 2009 года в третьем раунде литовском ралли чемпионата пройдет в северной части Литвы, в регионе Шяуляе. ) Rally Nationscup 2009. Ралли "Saule 2009" также третье мероприятие из ФИА Северо-Европейской зоны (NEZ) по раллиТакже известен как Жемайтии ралли ( "Zemaitijos ralis"), это событие гравий будет привлекать сильнейших литовском ралли экипажей и толпы любителей ралли, не говоря уже о гостях из других стран.

 На маршрутах "Saule" ралли содержать дороги смешанной сложности: начиная от широкого и быстрого частей к очень узкой и twisty секциях.  Таким образом, "Сауле" является одним из самых сложных с литовских этапов

 Ралли "Saule 2009" стартует в субботу 11 июля в городе Шяуляе.  . Для начала, только в двух идентичных 4.6km долго специальных этапов на асфальт произойдет в тот день. . Тем не менее, основная часть мероприятий пройдет на следующий день.   В воскресенье 12 июля ралли будут продолжаться в  окресности Кельме (около 40 км от Шяуляй), где водители будут иметь 105.5km гравия в 10 этапов гонки.

Есть большое желание (решение буду принимать после ралли Выборг) проехать пару гонок в Прибалтике в этом году. Не посоветуете какие лучше всего выбрать?) Просто интересно мнение... И в какой класс попадает Саксо N2 у вас? Ну и если уж начал, как обстоят дела с арендой монопривода?

У нас в Литве пока одним из лучшим и интересным считается ралли Аукштайтия (ralis Aukstaitija), оно традиционно проходит в Utena . Страничка организатора www.ajags.lt Даты гонки 21 - 22 августа. Саксо попадёт в класс N2 или N3 (N2000). Также 5-6 сентября ралли Aplink Lietuva (Вокруг Литвы) и заключительный этап чемпионата - Kauno ruduo (Каунасская осень) 25 и 26 сентября.

Пока было так, но есть организаторы, которые стараютя обогнать по уровню подготовке, например январское Winter Rally  Да и ралли Saule, ралли Vilnius "на уровне".

С начала мы подали заявку на ралли Россия, но потом нас отговорили.... ( Объяснив что гонка очень убийственная для техники, поэтому мы решили заявится на гонку в нам уже хорошо знакомый чемпионат Литвы. Если всё будет хорошо постараемся ещё проехать Аукштатию.
Особенность гонок в Литве, они очень быстрые, много ходовых поворотов и прямиков, наверное поэтому Лансеры там "рулят"!

Кризис?

С начала мы подали заявку на ралли Россия, но потом нас отговорили.... ( Объяснив что гонка очень убийственная для техники, поэтому мы решили заявится на гонку в нам уже хорошо знакомый чемпионат Литвы.

Если вы подали заявку на одну гонку, но потом передумали и поехали на другую, неплохо было бы известить об этом организаторов первой. Какая бы она "убийственная для техники" не была
